On February 4, 2026,
the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially added two substances (please
refer to the table below for specific information) to the list of substances of
very high concern (SVHC). Additionally, the status of
4,4-hydroxydiphenylmethane (bisphenol F, BPF) in the SVHC intention register
has been marked as "withdrawn". As of now, the SVHC list has
increased to 253 items.
As of now, the summary of the status of
SVHC substances is as follows:
• 253 items have been officially included
in the SVHC list
• 1 item - Undetermined substance (resorcinol)
